Bouncing off from what Angie suggested about having a list of genres, I thought we should probably have a set list of ratings that you can pick from. I'm not really too strict with the ratings, so long as anything really adult is well-labelled.
Anyway, setting up the ratings is a bit harder than genres because everywhere does it differently! What about something like this:
G or U: Universal to all. Clean, no swearing, no violence, no sex.
PG or PG-13: Mild. Brief or mild swearing, violence, sex/nudity. Suitable for young teenagers.
T: Moderate. Contains some moderate swearing, violence, sex/nudity, or suggestive scenes, but still without too much explicit detail. Suitable for older teenagers.
R: Racy! Stronger stuff: large amounts/particularly nasty swearing, violence, sex. May contain explicit details.
NC-17: The really explicit stuff (usually applied to sex, I find).
What do you think? Too many? Too few? I doubt we'll actually have any need of "NC-17" in this fandom, so I could knock that one off. If anyone else has better definitions or a different set of ratings all together, please post them!  I would use the same ratings as ff.n, except the ones they have there now confuse me! (K? M? Huh?!)

I'll put these ratings up then (in the submissions section) unless anyone has any objections. I can always change them at a later date.
